When filtering, the entry you make will match any title and/or rating that contains that value. When you click on the Clear Filters button, it only clears the filter boxes. It does not refresh the data. You must click the Apply Filter(s) button to refresh the data.

You may sort the list by any of the columns except Released. The current sort column has a gray background for the column heading. The background color of each other column heading selectable for sorting will turn blue when you move the cursor over it, and a help balloon will pop up indicating how the data will be sorted when clicking on that column heading.

When changing filters or the sort order, the first page of the new list will be displayed, regardless of which page you are currently on. This is true even if you click on the Apply Filter(s) button without changing the filters.

When clicking on the page navigation links, the Apply Filter(s) button, or any column heading to change the sort order, the new page will replace the current page in the browser's history. This means that you cannot use the browser back and forward buttons (or the Intellimouse Explorer's side buttons) to navigate the DVD list pages. When you click on a title to see the detail of the DVD or on the Add DVD link, it does not replace the DVD list page in the browser's history, so you may click the browser's back button (or the Intellimouse Explorer's side button) to return to the DVD list page from that page.

To add a DVD, by clicking the Add DVD link, you must be registered in the HoutsNet security database and be authorized to add DVDs. If you are not logged in in this browser session, a log in page will appear. The same criteria applies to the Edit link on the DVD Detail page.

Moving the cursor over any title and resting it for a moment will display a popup listing the cast of the movie. Moving the cursor over any year and resting it for a moment will display a popup listing the director of the movie. Moving the cursor over any release date and resting it for a moment will display a popup listing the edition of the movie, unless it is a standard edition. Moving the cursor over any rating and resting it for a moment will display a popup listing the genre(s) of the movie.
